John Draves is awarded 2007 R. Bean & Son Transportation Driver of the Year Award

This award was given to John in July, 2007 by his peers at our annual summer company picnic.  This was not awarded by, or influenced by any management at R. Bean & Son Transportation.  Criteria was given to each driver of our company, and John received this prestigious award.  Congratulations John!  You are well deserving!

Tim Bean Wins 2006 MTA Truck Driving Championships!

On Friday and Saturday, June 23-24, four R Bean & Son Transportation Drivers competed in Lansing, Michigan in the state driving championships.  When all was said and done, driver Tim Bean placed 1st!  We are very proud of Tim and the hard work he completed to win this award.  Tim will be competing at Nationals in New Orleans, LA in August. 

We also want to congratulate the other 3 drivers for their hard work, they also did very well.  We will be giving more details on the entire weekend very shortly.

Wolverine World Wide, Inc. recognizes R. Bean & Son Transportation

The events which occurred September 11, 2001 will be etched deeply into the minds of every American and many people from around the world, for the remainder of our lives.  Shortly after, the call went out for work shoes and boots at "Ground Zero" in New York City.  Wolverine World Wide, Inc. answered that call in a great way, supplying the heroes of NYC with a full semi-trailer load of boots and shoes of all sizes.  Only one trucking company was called to donate a truck and drivers.  R. Bean & Son Transportation, Inc. answered that call with a firm "YES", and we were on our way to New York City.  Two of our drivers were able to see the firefighters who unselfishly work for 12-20 hour shifts.  Both were deeply impacted from the trip.  Because of our help, R. Bean & Son received a recognition plaque from Wolverine World Wide, Inc. which reads as follows:
